Love Island UK stars George Tasker and Mollie Salmon are now step-siblings after their parents tied the knot

Love Island UK stars George Tasker and Mollie Salmon joined the show in search of finding love, but they weren't the ones who left with it.

The Casa Amor bombs walked away from the show single, but in a strange twist of events, they have now become step-siblings. Their parents met behind the scenes on the show and actually got married a month later.

George had to clear up rumours that the pair were dating, and explained the bizarre situation to his Instagram followers during an Instagram Q&A.

"So basically, absolute madness, my mum has married Mollie's dad. So now we are stepbrother and stepsister, which is mad," he said.

"They met at the reunion about a month ago and since then got engaged and got married."

George also shared a picture of his mother on the big day, both holding a glass of champagne, and congratulating his mum on the momentous occasion.

The pair posed in front of a beautiful cliffside with his mother holding a large bouquet of flowers with a matching flower crown on her head. 

The bombs both entered the Villa during Casa Amor on Season 8 of the show.

During his short time there, George grew close to this year's winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and the pair shared a bed together.

When Mollie entered the main Villa alongside the female Casa Amor bombshells, she hit things off with Davide Sanclimenti and shared some kisses in bed. 

But both Ekin-Su and Davide decided to couple up with each other in the end, and the duo went on to win the show.
