Exclusive: Kaylah and Eric on their future plans and the sweet way he said 'I love you' after the Love Island Australia 2024 Grand Finale
EXCLUSIVE: Despite being the newest couple in the Love Island Australia Villa, Bombshells Kaylah and Eric built a connection so strong it landed them in the Grand Finale.
The pair were voted runners up alongside Mia and Niko, while Em and Mercedes were crowned the Season 6 winners.
While Kaylah and Eric didn't walk away with the $50,000 cash prize, they found something more important: love.

In an exclusive interview with 9Entertainment, the couple shared that not only are they still together, but they're living together on Sydney's Northern Beaches and planning a very exciting future.
They said they had been practically attached at the hip since leaving Spain.
"We're together every day, all day," Eric said with a laugh.

"We work together in the gym, then we live together as well. We have not left each other's side, and it just keeps getting better and better," Kaylah explained.
"We say that to each other every single day. We're like, 'Who would have thought that our love could get better and better?' But it just keeps getting more incredible."
The pair shared a sweet story from the first time they said 'I love you', directly after leaving the Villa.
"I said it first when we came out of the Villa and stayed in a hotel," Eric said.
"We were in bed and yeah, I said the 'L word'. People have different views on it, people may wait a little longer which is fair enough, but I think when you know, you know."

Kaylah and Eric's relationship has gone from strength-to-strength since leaving the Villa. Nine
Kaylah agreed, saying it felt so "natural" in the moment.
"The fast flow of our relationship, it takes me by surprise every day and I love it."
The couple have lots of exciting future plans, including a trip to Argentina at the end of the year to see Eric's family and travel South America, and a trip to Bali with their friends – Season 5 fan-favourite couple Nate Page and Georgia Murray– early next year.
They admitted to be "a little bit" disappointed at not winning the series, but were happy for Em and Mercedes. They added that "the bigger picture is that we're just so happy that we found each other" and had an incredible experience.
"I was about to say it exceeded expectations, but you can't really have expectations going into this. I felt like I grew in the Villa but now watching it back, I'm growing even more as a person," Kaylah grinned.

Eric agreed, saying he'd learned a whole different side to himself during the show.
"Honestly, I'm so glad I did it," he said, prompting Kaylah to respond: "I'm so glad you did it too!"
