Catriona Rowntree shares major health update following her sister Lucinda's cancer diagnosis
Getaway host Catriona Rowntree has shared an important health update following her sister Lucinda's stage four cancer diagnosis.
The 52-year-old was happy to report that it was good news, revealing that Lucinda is responding well to treatments.

"Lucinda is doing well. Very tired as she nears the end of her chemo, but the doctors are happy and results will be in this week," Catriona told the Herald Sun.
Catriona added that Lucinda's family was celebrating a number of milestones that are keeping everybody's spirits high.
"Her daughter Katie just got engaged and her other daughter Georgia has been asked by Blue Illusion to be in a shoot with my mum celebrating three generations of women.
"Lots to look forward to... and live for."

In April 2023, Catriona marked Lucinda's birthday with a bittersweet message posted to Instagram about her health struggles.
At the time Catriona revealed that Lucinda's cancer is "apparently incurable" and that she had to quit her job as a school teacher as she "committed to the fight of her life".
Previously speaking to 9Entertainment, Catriona said no moment was more difficult than when the news was broken to her.
"It was very destabilising because so often I look at my older sister as a maternal kind of figure," she said.
"You also feel ticked off, she's the nice one, she always puts herself last so you think, 'Why does this have to happen to her?'"

Catriona admitted the pair had "shed lot of tears" but despite the family's heartache, they were also filled with bounds of hope.
After undergoing a trial treatment in the US that didn't work as the family had hoped, Lucinda went on to start the processes of chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

There's been a silver lining in this journey. Through her sister, Catriona discovered a wonderful charity called Dreams2Live4 and hoped to shine a spotlight on the "amazing" work they do.
"It's for people who are members in the 'world's worst club' and they are Stage 4 cancer," Catriona said.
The Australian charity makes dreams come true for adults living with metastatic cancer.
"That's been a really lovely thing to discover."
