Stunning images reveal how major cities will look in the future

Historic cities such as London and Paris are transformed from odes to the past to visions of the future with 'smart' green buildings and 'farmscrapers'.

Meanwhile Dubai's vast desert landscape is depicted as awash with ultra-modern skyscrapers and glistening chrome domes.

The artist also illustrates what a very modern Manhattan might look like if the U-shaped Big Bend building ever goes ahead and a monorail is installed throughout the city.
