Thrilling footage reveals what its like to ride the world's longest waterslide at sea

Royal Caribbean have unveiled one of their record-breaking new attractions, sharing footage of what it's like to take on the world's longest waterslide at sea.

The cruise company's ship Navigator of the Seas just underwent a massive $182 million (£88 million) revamp, which included the installment of The Blaster, a head-spinning 800 feet waterslide.

In the footage, a two-person raft whips around colourful tunnels and transparent tubes, twisting and turning with heart-stopping momentum on a lengthy 800 feet course. Watch the clip above to experience it for yourself.

There are plenty thrills in-store for riders, with portions of the slide open-air, and a transparent section that juts out over the side of the liner, revealing a dizzying drop.

The newly made-over Navigator of the Seas relaunched in February in Miami.

The Blaster isn't the only adrenalin-inducing attraction onboard, either. Riptide see riders soar headfirst down a slide, culminating in a see-through tube ride with ocean views.

The ship is currently running three- and four-night sailings from Miami to the Bahamas, with cruises around the Caribbean to commence in 2020.
