Travelling the world as a flight attendant can seem like a glamorous job. But as one cabin crew member has revealed, it can sometimes be a bit of a slog.

Meg McKeon, who works for European airline Ryanair, regularly shares insights into her life in the air on her TikTok account.

She recently posted a day in her life as a flight attendant, which included a not-so-glamorous 4.30am wake up.

"I went to Pisa and back today," she wrote, showing herself getting to the airport after having an iced coffee, and arriving at the aircraft at 6:55am.

She then films her day at work, including plane window views and eating her lunch before flying back to the UK.

"I finished around 1pm," she wrote, as she headed back to her car.

People took to the comments to share their surprise that she was able to fly to another country and back in the space of eight hours.

"Why do you need to cover up your tattoo? Surely that's not needed in this day and age!" one person questioned.

"They seriously make you cover your tattoo?" another asked.

According to the Ryanair dress code: No visible tattoos are allowed, which means tattoos need to be covered, with makeup or a bandage.
