Frequent flyers can now use their Qantas Points for any seat on any plane from capital cities to regional Australia
Travellers looking to sate their wanderlust with a domestic adventure will soon be able to use their Qantas Frequent Flyer points to secure any seat on any flight on over 30 routes.
In August, the national carrier will offer flights on more than 1700 Points Planes – where passengers can book any seat using their Qantas Points – between capital cities and largely regional destinations.
Almost 130,000 Classic Flight Reward seats will be on offer on flights from Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and Brisbane to over 20 regional destinations. Tickets are available from now until May 15.

In August, frequent flyers can use their points for any seat on any Qantas domestic flight for over 30 routes. Qantas
Broken Hill, Uluru, Coffs Harbour, Merimbula, Mildura, Newcastle, Orange, Tamworth, Mount Gambier, Burnie, the Sunshine Coast and Townsville are some of the destinations on offer, and seats on these flights will also be able to be purchased with cash.
Additionally, from June 1 to November 30, frequent flyers can expect to use 30 per cent fewer points when they book economy Classic Flight Reward seats on these routes, including the month of August.
All Qantas Hotels and Qantas Holidays bookings are also available for 30 to 45 per cent less points.

"We've seen a huge increase in demand for regional travel since the start of the pandemic and these Points Planes will help tens of thousands of frequent flyers discover regional Australia this winter," Qantas Loyalty CEO Olivia Wirth said in a statement.
"These Points Planes will help boost tourism right across the country during August and make it easier for residents in these regional towns to get away for a city escape.
"Qantas' regional network plays an important role in supporting local economies and this investment in domestic Points Planes will continue to drive visitation and support travel demand."

Hobart, Launceston, Burnie, Wagga Wagga, Albury, Port Macquarie, Mildura, Griffith, Byron Bay, Cairns, the Gold Coast, and Proserpine are also on offer for the points flights.
The domestic deals comes off the back of news that Qantas is planning to deliver non-stop flights from the east coast of Australia to Europe and the United States, with direct flights from Australian cities to New York and London expected to be on offer.
Qantas will order 12 Airbus A350s capable of flying those long distances direct by the end of 2025, and their domestic fleet is also getting a facelift as part of Project Sunrise.
