Luxury Escapes unveils travellers' favourite places, from hotels to cruises
Travel company Luxury Escapes has revealed the winners of its LuxList Awards 2024.
Voted on by members, it aims to celebrate the travel experiences customers loved the most.

Most Loved Destination: Maldives
The tropical nation of The Maldives came out on top in this category.
It might be a long journey from Australia, but it's worth it, travellers say.
More than 30 per cent named the Maldives as their most loved destination
Famous for luxury over water resorts, it's especially popular with honeymooners.
Many of its reefs are UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Most Loved Cruise Line: Royal Caribbean
Famous for its mammoth ships, holidaymakers said Royal Caribbean was their favourite cruise firm.
Royal Caribbean has the world's biggest ship, Icon of the Seas, but also sails from Australia.
Quantum of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas an Ovation of the seas are all Down Under for the summer.
Most Loved Bucket List Escape: Finland and Norway Northern Lights
It's no surprise which won this category.
"Over half of the voters ranked Finland and Norway's Northern Lights as their ultimate bucket-list getaway, " Adam Schwab, Co-Founder and CEO of Luxury Escapes, said.
This year is set to be one of the best for more than a decade to see the northern lights.
The mysterious shimmering lights are caused by storms on the surface of the sun.
Most Inclusion-Packed Escape: Intercontinental Hayman Island
Queensland hotspot the Intercontinental Hayman Island won this category .
In the sun-drenched Whitsundays, the hotel boasts one of Australia's biggest swimming pools and five restaurants.
Luxury Escapes offers include $400 credit and luxury transfers.
Other bonuses include $500 resort credit, if you stay for five nights.
