Cat lovers offered free house on beautiful Greek Island with 55 cats

Cat ladies and men of the world, listen up.

Your dream of soaking up the rays on a Greek island – rent free – with a bunch of rescued cats can finally come true.

The God's Little People Cat Rescue on Syros currently cares for 55 stray and feral cats, but the couple who currently run the sanctuary are moving on.

This is where you step in.

The job involves moving into a free home overlooking the Aegean, all expenses paid, and raking in $560 a month for part-time hours. Oh, and obviously having a love for cats.

Already, the post has caused an online stir among feline-lovers, with many commenting that it is their "idea of heaven".

In a post on God's Little People Cat Rescue Facebook page, the current owner, Joan, wrote: "Paid job offer with cats - this is genuine and NOT a joke - friends, please feel free to verify."

"You will have 55 cats in your care and need to be able to overview them all, and feed and medicate. Big added bonus if you're trained vet or nurse," the post added.

The successful applicant will take over the sanctuary from November 1, 2018.
