The top travel destinations for 2025 have been revealed by a travel firm, with several under-the-radar spots making the list.
Spanning several continents, the top locations on the list promise "fewer tourists and more authentic experiences," according to tour company G Adventures.

9. Portugal
Interest in Portugal shows no signs of slowing down, seeing over 50 per cent growth in the past two years according to G Adventures.
While beaches, charming streets and a buzzing food scene may be the first thing that comes to mind, the lesser-visited mountain villages close to the Spanish border are one of Portugal's best kept secrets.
G Adventures' new Geluxe collection gets travellers off the tourist trail and into the historic villages, which are like portals back in time it says.

8. Greece
Greece remains a consistent favourite among travellers, but exploring the less touristy islands is becoming more popular.
Paros, Antiparos, and Naxos among other islands are stepping into the spotlight, offering a tranquil alternative to their busier neighbours.
