Gordon Ramsay’s own hotel hell as his poorly reviewed B&B spirals into $1.4million debt
He’s the fiery chef who has been schooling failing hoteliers and restaurateurs on his hit TV shows for thirteen years but it would appear Gordon Ramsay should be keeping an eye on detail a little closer to home.
The 50-year-old British chef is facing his very own hotel horror with his London B&B, The York & Albany, plummeting into $1.4million debt.
In fact, the Hotel Hell frontman has been hit with a spate of poor reviews on Tripadvisor, with many visitors slamming the $340-a-night for poor service, with some even saying they had a “terrible” experience.

The nine-room hotel is located in hipster haven Camden and says it's the "perfect place" to stay with close proximity to music venues and the London Zoo.
York & Albany was opened by Ramsay in 2008
There is also a restaurant onsite, serving up a mix of Ramsay-approved specialties from beer battered cod to buttermilk ice cream.
But it’s trendy location and celebrity chef-backed food isn’t enough to warrant the pricey $1million-a-year rent. It adds to Ramsay’s already dire financial situation, with reports saying his Gardon Ramsay LTD is in $25million debt.
