Travel from Sydney to London in business class for under $10k
If a trip to London is calling, a new deal could make the long-haul journey easier.
Virgin Australia is offering return business class flights to the buzzing city direct from Sydney for under $10,000.
The airline is partnering with Qatar Airways to offer more options for travellers looking for a deal on fares.

The flights will be operated by Virgin Australia using Qatar Airways' Boeing 777s.
From today, travellers can book new services to fly directly from Sydney, Brisbane and Perth to a range of destinations for travel from June 2025.
A direct service from Melbourne is expected to launch later next year.
Some of the best fares on offer include:
- Sydney to London Business Class return from $9351
- Perth to Paris Business Class return from $7679
- Brisbane to Rome Business Class from $9409
- Perth to Paris Economy Choice return from $1791
- Sydney to London Economy Choice return from $1982
- Brisbane to Rome Economy Choice return from $1945
Final regulatory approvals for the airline partnership are pending.
However a Virgin Australia spokesperson said travellers will be offered either refunds or re-accommodation on suitable alternative flights and reimbursement for "reasonably foreseeable costs" if the new services are unable to go ahead as planned.
