This is where Aussies are travelling to these Christmas holidays
Though it feels like Christmas was just last month, summer holidays are once again coming up fast.
And Aussies have holiday travel on the brain - according to Webjet, with flight bookings soaring for travel during the peak Christmas period.
But where are we jetting off to?
More than half of all bookings made this year so far for the peak Christmas 2025 period are for international travel, including 12 per cent for Trans-Tasman travel.
In fact, New Zealand is really having a moment, home to three of the top ten trending spots.
Read on to see the top destinations.
Nadi, Fiji
Fiji has long been a favourite destination for Aussie travellers, and for good reason.
With perfect white sand beaches and clear blue water, it's an island paradise that's well-suited to a week of relaxation.
Fiji's many beachfront resorts make travelling there a breeze, whether you're on a romantic getaway, a family trip, or a holiday with your mates.
Bangkok, Thailand
A relatively short flight to Thailand's capital city means it's a great spot to travel for an easy getaway.
Though most Thais don't celebrate Christmas, there's still plenty to do around the city.
Foodies in particular will love a trip to Bangkok, where you can get everything from Michelin-starred street food to high-end dining.
It's an ideal spot for anyone who loves the outdoors, with great hiking and biking trails just outside the city.
There's also the region's wineries to explore, and adventure activities like bungee jumping.
Singapore
For a fun city escape, Singapore can't be beat. The modern city has everything: shopping, diverse food, luxury hotels, iconic architecture, open green spaces, and friendly locals.
Singapore's vibrant Chinatown district is a must-visit, with bustling hawker markets, colourful temples, and chic bars and restaurants.
London, UK
London is the jumping-off point for many a European holiday, so it's no surprise that it is among our top destinations.
London itself is also magical at Christmas-time. There's a chill in the air, the lights and decorations come out, and everyone's in a good mood as the holiday approaches.
