This is the best luxury hotel brand in the world - for the third year in a row
For the third year running, Mandarin Oriental has been crowned the world's best luxury hotel brand.
The chain has over 40 properties worldwide, including hotels, resorts and residences, in 26 countries.
Known for its world-class experiences, fine dining opportunities, and spa facilities, the Mandarin Oriental is synonymous with luxury.

The winners were determined by elite travel advisers at Luxury Travel Intelligence (LTI), who created an algorithm that analysed over 130 factors for a total score.
This included overall brand performance, quality of staff and management, and ongoing investments in new properties.

Mandarin Oriental came out on top yet again, thanks to its impeccable service and offerings around the globe.

Second place went to Aman Resorts, which jumped up three spots from its ranking last year in fifth place.
Aman properties are typically small - less than 40 rooms - and have a design focused on peace and relaxation. They're always located in areas of cultural or natural wonder.
Bulgari and Oetker Collection were ranked third and fourth, respectively, while Rosewood rounds out the top five.
There have been reports that a Rosewood property is set to open soon in Brisbane, and will be one of Australia's only ultra-luxury six-star hotels.
In sixth place is the Four Seasons, and the first entry in the list to have a hotel in Australia. The Sydney property has harbour views and is conveniently located in the CBD.
Earlier this year, La Liste named the best hotels around the world, which featured one Aussie property on its list.
The StandardX in Melbourne was named in the Style and Design Hotel Award.
La Liste dubbed it "arty, bold and unfiltered", and rooms go for under $300 a night.

Each hotel is assigned a weighted score by LTI, culminating in a maximum possible score of 4,663.
