The airlines with the best cabin crew in the world, according to travellers
Travellers have voted for their top airlines for 2025, with two Australian carriers featuring high up in the global rankings.
Airlineratings.com's annual Flyers Choice Awards spotlight the airlines that passengers around the world rank as their favourites.
Voting for this year's awards opened in April, 2025, and recognise outstanding performance in a wide range of unique categories.

Singapore Airlines also took first for Best Cabin Crew Uniform, followed by Emirates.
Virgin Australia took out the third spot in the category for its crew uniform.

The Aussie carrier was joined in third place by Air New Zealand.
It's a timely nod for the NZ carrier as it overhauled its crew uniform earlier this year.
The airline tipped NZ-born fashion designer Emilia Wickstead – a favourite of Catherine, Princess of Wales – to design new uniforms for all their flight staff.
Qantas wins one global title
Travellers also nominated their preferred airline in any region they had flown.
The award for Preferred Airline Airline in Australia and the Pacific Ocean went to Qantas, with Air New Zealand following in second. Virgin Australia came in third.
The Flying Kangaroo also took first place in the global categories, with flyers voting for Qantas as having the Best Airline Livery in the world.
Etihad was voted second, with Air New Zealand in third.

Airline that gave the greatest peace of mind when flying
Meanwhile, despite an increase in global airline incidents in 2025, the awards also asked travellers to vote for the airlines that gave them the greatest peace of mind when flying.
"After a tragic year for aviation, this was a particularly compelling question, and one where I honestly didn't know what to expect," AirlineRatings CEO Sharon Petersen said in a statement.
"Qantas has long been regarded as one of the safest airlines in the world, consistently ranking in the top three of our World's Safest Airlines listings every year.
"The famous line from Rain Man, where Dustin Hoffman's character says, 'Qantas, never crashed,' perfectly captures the airline's well-established safety reputation, which remains just as strong 27 years later."

Another standout was Singapore Airlines.
Despite a turbulence incident in May 2024, public trust in the carrier remains.
"This speaks volumes about the brand's strength, passenger loyalty, and the confidence in safety it continues to inspire," Peterson said.
Emirates, Qatar, Cathay Pacific and Etihad consistently feature in the top 10 of the aviation site's World's Safest Airlines Awards.
"Given the significantly smaller size and reach of Air New Zealand, the fact that it drew the 7th highest number of votes competing against major global carriers really says it all," Peterson said.
Air New Zealand has won AirlineRatings' World's Safest Airline award on multiple occasions.
