The royal tour of the Caribbean may be over but we're still here for some travel inspiration thanks to Prince William and Kate's whirlwind visit to the Bahamas.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent a weekend at The Cove at Atlantis on Paradise Island, as confirmed by Travel + Leisure.

The Cove is one of five hotels located within the Atlantis Paradise Island resort, and is a celebrity favourite, with stars including Oprah Winfrey and Kim Kardashian often staying in the resort's Bridge Suite at The Royal for $34,000 per night.

The three-bedroom suite, that can sleep up to eight people, features a round foyer with a high domed ceiling and glass chandelier.
