The Gold Coast's Movie World opens a new rollercoaster

Movie World in the Gold Coast are officially opening a new rollercoaster ride on tomorrow (Friday September 22), just in time for the school holidays.

The DC Rival Hypercoaster will be the second fastest HyperCoaster in Australia, travelling at 115km per hour, during the 1.4m length.

And it also whizzes backwards, as well as forward facing.

This week, a few lucky visitors to the Warner Brothers' theme park were chosen to test out the rollercoaster, with one writing on Facebook: "Fricken awesome."
