Airline customer service worker applauded for savage response to passenger

A Twitter post from a British Airways staff member known as "Angela" has gone viral for her brutal response to a snarky customer complaint.

When a UK traveller took to Twitter to complain about how the airline stopped her from boarding a flight until her passport was signed, Angela replied in such a way that that earned her the praise of the Twitterverse.

The complainee tagged the airline's official account in her now-deleted lengthy online chronicle.

Then Angela responded like this:

Twitter: @british_airways

This prompted a wave of online support for the mysterious "Angela", with Twitter users taking to the platform in the thousands to congratulate the BA staffer on standing up for herself and, well, stating the obvious.

Other users had a lot to say about why the complainee struggled to write her own signature.

"Why on earth would you need to practice your signature. Are you 12? [sic]" one commentator asked.

"'Practiced my sig' FFS!" another wrote.

British Airways has since removed the tweet, but Angela's legend will live on.
