Air travel is stressful at the best of times – with checking in, checking bags, security and delays to think about, by the time you get situated on the plane, it's understandable that you'd want to relax for your flight.
These passengers, however, are doing their level best to make that impossible.
Read on to see all the annoying things plane passengers are putting fellow passengers, and cabin crew, through.

A viral Reddit post has sparked this polarising debate, with travellers undecided on where the line should be drawn.
Posted onto the popular "Mildly Infuriating" subreddit, one user has slammed their seat neighbour's behaviour after snapping a photo of their foot poking from underneath.
"Don't be this person. Friend sent me this from her recent flight home last weekend," the post was captioned.
Agreeing with their sentiment, 2.5 thousand people flooded the comment section.
"I would 1000% stomp on that foot a time or two until they got the point," one commenter said. "I am not afraid to let people know when they are invading my personal space."
Another shared a possible reason for this behaviour.
"I've once accidentally done this and not realised," they wrote.
"It's a typical long legs in economy problem. Most people don't do it on purpose and gently nudging their foot will fix it."
"Seriously passive-aggressive"
If you thought that the most annoying thing a plane passenger seated in front of you could do was recline their seat – think again.
In a video shared to Reddit, one passenger can be seen reaching their hands around their seatback, completely obstructing the screen behind them.
The video shows the hands stretching, tapping on the screen, and picking their nails.
Though it may have been done by accident, people are calling out the arrogance someone needs to have to be this oblivious to everyone around them.
"That is some seriously passive-aggressive s--t right there. And completely intentional," one person wrote in reply.
People in the Reddit thread comments had a lot of creative ways to deal with the annoying situation.
"You should have held his hands," one person wrote.
"Fake sneeze and flick some water on him," suggested another.
"Poor parenting"
A traveller has taken to Reddit to put a fellow plane passenger on blast after enduring an eight-hour flight next to a misbehaving toddler and their unresponsive mum.
"Kid poked me repeatedly with their cutlery from the in-flight meal, spilled water on me, screamed and cried the ENTIRE flight, crapped their pants and stunk up the plane, literally jumped up and down on their seat several times..." they wrote in a post titled "poor parenting".
"The mother made no attempts to settle her child, put her child's trash on my eating tray (before she tossed it on the ground), demanded that the lovely Air Canada staff turn the AC off for the plane as the 'AC is harmful to her and her child'."
Many of the comments on the post called out the so-called "bad parenting", agreeing that the mum should have stepped in to calm her child.
"There's not anything more stressful than poor parents with uncontrolled kids," one person wrote.
Another came up with a potential deterrent: "Airlines have assigned seating. After someone leaves a mess like this, they should be charged extra for cleanup at the very least."
"It obviously does not fit."
A recent plane traveller was shocked to see the size of the sombrero hat brought on board by a fellow passenger.
"It obviously does not fit in the overhead bin or under the seat...," they captioned the photo which was uploaded to Reddit.
One commenter was quick to point out the obvious: "Fits on his head. It's fine."
Another had a great solution. "He puts the sombrero sideways against the wall of the plane; brim side facing out and the part that covers his head rests on his leg against it to keep it in place."
However, upon realising the man was allocated an aisle, seat, changed their mind: "Crushing it is the only option then."
"Ask for scissors."
On a recent long-haul flight to Europe, one passenger had to deal with having someone else's hair draped over their screen.
"I really wanted to believe that people who are so oblivious towards others didn't exist," they captioned the photo which was uploaded to Reddit.
Commenters were quick to offer up some suggestions. "Call in flight attendant and ask for scissors to remove hair," one person said. Another just suggested sticking some bubblegum in their locks.
"The counter move to this is your bare feet on their armrest," someone else said.
Another person wrote that they had a similar situation happen to them - but when they politely asked the woman to move her hair, she refused.
"My last flight was just shy of 18 hours and a woman with long hair would constantly do this but it was much longer, personally I did try to talk to her," the commenter wrote.
"She got her husband to yell at me for doing so. Sometimes you do talk to them, and it gets worse."
"no common sense"
When you're flying economy, you're already travelling with limited leg room. The only thing that could make it even more uncomfortable is when another passenger takes up way too much space.
This is exactly what happened to one passenger who shared photos on Reddit of the person next to them taking up extra leg room in the row.
"Just scoot the f--k over," they angrily captioned the post.
"Another prime example of no common sense. Thanks dude for being considerate!!!"

The Reddit user wasn't the only one annoyed over the clear invasion of personal space.
People took to the comments to call out how "inconsiderate" the passenger's behaviour was.
"Over my dead body!" one person exclaimed.
"I travel enough to know how inconsiderate people like this can be," they added. "Stuff like that irritates me beyond belief!"
However, many in the comments were also quick to point out that the Reddit user is well within their rights to ask the passenger to move since they paid for their own leg room.
"Put your leg right up against his. Better yet, ask him to move it over," one person said.
"Hey sir, mind sliding over that way just a little?" is an easy alternative," another wrote.
"Seizure inducing!"
A plane passenger has been left gobsmacked after his seat neighbour whipped out what could be described as the most annoying and obnoxious phone charger of all time.
"A strobing phone charger on a dark three hour flight," the stunned traveller shared alongside a clip on Reddit, showing the phone cord plugged into the seat back outlet above the tray table.
The cord could be seen flashing between red, green and blue, while the surroundings of the cabin appeared relatively dark.
"Oh dude. Jesus that's seizure inducing," one person commented on the clip.
"Who the hell wants a charging cord like this?!" was another shocked response.
"Oh that's more than just mildly infuriating," another person agreed.
While a fourth quipped: "This is the real reason the TSA confiscates your scissors."
One person tried to offer one kind of potential defence of the disco-inclined passenger.
"Phone was dead on a long drive with no charger. Stopped at a gas station in the middle of the night, this was the only one they had. Packaging definitely wasn't clear on the fact that it was colorful, let alone strobing," they wrote.
Either way, once you realise surely you'd unplug!?
"Can't make this up."
You can see by the look on her face that this passenger on a recent Ryanair flight was not thrilled with what she spotted behind her.
Taking to Twitter to share a photo taken during a flight at the weekend, the traveller wrote: "I can't make this up."
When asked who took the photo in the comments she clarified "my friend in the aisle next to me".
The image shows the passenger behind her making himself comfortable by removing his shoes and resting his barefoot up on her arm rest.
The tweet had already received over 4.3m views, before it was also shared by the airline itself along with the hilarious response: "We can't be held responsible for this."
Now with over 8m views, people have been flooding the comments to call the barefoot passenger out.
"Shame you can't flip the armrest up," one person commented.
"Thoughts and prayers," another commiserated, sharing a photo of his own dire situation.
"You need to say something this is not okay," another wrote.
While a fourth simply called it a "removable offence."
