You can now get married underwater...at a quarter of the price of a standard wedding

Every couple has their thing and well, that tends to come out at their wedding for us all to enjoy or gawp at depending on what it is.

And if you and your significant other loves nothing more than the sea and diving then a hotel is ready to cater to your underwater ceremonial needs.

The Hotel Metropole in Monte-Carlo have launched a 40-feet underwater wedding package, which is directed by world-famous free-diving champion Pierre Frolla.

There's no daggy wetsuits for the couple, instead a neoprene white number with voile skirt and pink scuba mask for the bride, and a tailor-made tailcoat wetsuit with bowtie for the groom.

Or a groom and groom, or bride and bride, as the hotel state they aren't fussy about the orientation of those wanting to tie the knot.

Up to 22 guests can don their scuba gear and watch the ceremony led by an officiant. The cost? From $4,500 to $7,300, which is pretty good for a wedding ceremony.

And with this you get transportation by boat to and from dive site, videography, music and a reception back on land with some champagne and French pastries.
