Mid-air Netflix is coming to these two airlines

Never has the 24-hour flight from Europe to Australia been so alluring with the arrival of Netflix mid-flight.

Yep, Delta and American Airlines have revealed they will soon roll-out the streaming service for fliers.

It's always been the dream and now it's about to become a reality. We're not sure why it took so long.

Delta revealed that 90 percent of their planes from July 1 will be offering the in-flight entertainment for free.

"The only thing better than operating the world's largest in-flight entertainment-equipped fleet is providing it free to all our guests," said Tim Mapes, Delta's Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.

Meanwhile, TechCrunch reports American Airlines will kick off  their service in September next year.

They are partnering with ViaSat to bring satellite wifi to 100 planes and provide 12Mbps per seat.
