Travelling from London to Melbourne? Jump aboard Etihad's three room suite in the sky for $111k

Anyone who has travelled the 24-hour trip from London to Australia will know it's not the easiest of flights, especially if you are jammed into the middle seat of economy.

But Etihad are now using their A380 plane, which boasts to having the three-bedroom suite called The Residence, for the long haul flight.

The luxury suite is truly for the super rich travellers of us, with a bedroom, bar and dining area and full bathroom in the upper deck to ensure the ultimate comfort.

However, the price tag of such extravagance falls at $111,200, making it the most expensive ticket on the market right now.

Guests do get your own butler, a chef and a chauffeur driver when they land on the ground though. Oh and private check-in area and access to a private lounge.

No economy-class goer in sight.

Etihad currently hold the top three most expensive return flights in the world, with their New York to Mumbai – also on the A380 with The Residence - coming in at second at $102k.
