Young Giants fan saves dad at baseball

A young San Francisco Giants fan has saved his dad from a horror hit at the baseball after using his glove to catch a foul ball that was just about to rocket into his father's head.

Ten-year-old John Pizzi was watching the Giants against Philadelphia when a foul ball ricocheted off the bat of Brandon Crawford.The ball took one bounce as it flew back behind the catcher and was just about to hit John's father, who was engrossed in conversation with another fan, when the youngster came to the rescue with his mitt and cat-like reflexes.His actions saved his dad from taking a potentially serious hit to the side of his head and also serves as a reminder that if you're lucky enough to be close to the action at a sporting event, you should always keep your eye on the ball.
