Young boy takes dead-aim at father

A father will be thinking twice before playing ball in the yard with his son again after the man copped a vicious shot to the head from the budding baseball prodigy.

The time-honoured tradition of a father showing his child the sporting ropes took a turn for the worse when the young boy blazed a line drive directly at his dad's face.

In the footage, the man lobs the ball up with his right arm while holding a camera in his left hand.

However, the son's competitive instincts take over and he lets rip with a full-blooded shot, sending his dad sprawling on the ground.

At the end of the video, the man lets out a long 'whooooa' before the son, still holding the bat in its follow-through position, simply says: 'sorry dad'.
