Vonn takes inspiration from boyfriend Tiger
American skiier Lindsey Vonn says her boyfriend Tiger Woods was a huge inspiration during her return from devastating knee injuries.
Vonn, the 2010 Olympic downhill champion, is slated to race for the first time since last year's World Championship where she suffered the injuries.
The 30-year-old, who has been dating Woods for nearly two years, described her boyfriend as "pretty tough" and "an incredibly hard worker".
Vonn has been in training ahead of her comeback in Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada.
Despite holding something back, she managed a time of 1 minute, 54.41 seconds.
She was unable to defend her Olympic title in Sochi because of her injuries.
She was all smiles as she returned to the slopes.
Woods is no stranger to injures. He has battled a back problem in the last few years.
He famously won the 2008 US Open with torn ligaments in his knee.
Vonn won a record sixth straight World Cup downhill championship in 2013.
She had injured her knee, but bad weather saw her retain her title.
