Brock Lesnar storms Octagon to shove Daniel Cormier after historic victory at UFC 226

Infamous MMA star Brock Lesnar has shockingly stormed the octagon to shove Daniel Cormier following his historic heavyweight title victory over Stipe Miocic at UFC 226.

An ageing Cormier joined Conor McGregor as the only man to ever hold two simultaneous UFC titles (light heavyweight/heavyweight) with his round one KO when he returned to the heavyweight division on Sunday.

After the fight Cormier used his newly established legendary status to call out Lesnar who is expected to return to the UFC following a one year doping ban.

“There’s a guy that I’ve known for a long time. He’s a wrestler. He’s an All-American. He’s a former UFC Champion. I never thought I would fight him, but Brock Lesnar, get your a** in here.”

Without hesitation, an incensed Lesnar infiltrated the octagon and shoved the two-division champ, sparking a melee at the centre of T-Mobile Arena.

The pair were separated by officials but not before Cormier got the last word.

“Push me now, get slept later,” Cormier bellowed down the microphone.

The confrontation has set the scene for a super-fight between the pair as Lesnar continued to stoke the flame after the event.

“Stipe (Miocic) is a piece of s---,” Lesnar said.

“Daniel Cormier, I’m coming for you motherf---er.”

Underdog Cormier stunned the fighting world when he caught Miocic with a three-punch combo, ending in a short uppercut that floored the champion.

A flurry of fists to the head of Miocic followed, leaving referee Marc Goddard no option but to end the bout to take Cormier’s UFC record to 10 wins and one loss.

"I was a heavyweight for a long time, and I left the division," Cormier said. "I never knew what I could become, but tonight I got the answer. I'm a two-division champion, baby!"
