Kyrgios to play Berlin exhibition events

Australia's Nick Kyrgios will feature at two exhibition tennis events in July in Berlin, organisers said on Friday.
Six men and six women are to play on grass in the Steffi Graf Stadium July 13-15, and in the hangar of former Tempelhof Airport July 17-19.
World No.40 Kyrgios joins the likes of German star Alexander Zverev and three-time grand slam finalist Dominic Thiem of Austria in the men's draw.

Local favourites Julia Goerges and Andrea Petkovic, and Elina Svitolina of Ukraine, will headline the women's draw.

Both events are likely to be played behind closed doors owing to coronavirus-related restrictions.
The pandemic has led to the suspension of the men's and women's tour until at least the end of July.
