He may have lost to Lleyton Hewitt two days ago, but that hasn't stopped Jack Sock from being lauded around the world.

Sock, who lost to the veteran at the Hopman Cup 7-5 6-4, is being praised after vision of a unique moment of sportsmanship went viral.

It shows the world number 26 receiving to Hewitt in the first set when a line judge called fault on one of the Aussie's first serves.

But the American thought otherwise and much to the surprise of everyone watching, he urged Hewitt to challenge the call.

"That was in, if you want to challenge it," Sock said.

In obliging, not only did Hewitt prove that Sock's eyes were correct, they also proved the him to be an extraordinarily good sport.
