Bob Bryan smashes brother in head with serve

The Bryan twins may be the most successful men’s doubles pairing of all time but their famed brotherly intuition deserted them during the World Tour Finals decider in London.

Down 4-5, 0-30 against Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo, footage shows the left-handed Bob crunch a first serve into the ad court.

Instead of landing, the serve smashes into the back of Mike’s head as he shuffles across the court at the net.

The elder brother by two minutes hits the deck and lays there for a moment as the O2 Arena crowd laughs then breaks into applause.

Mike didn’t get much sympathy from Bob over the falcon.

“You know what Bob said to me?” Mike told ATPWorldTour.com.

“You just messed up a great serve. That was going to be an ace.”

The brothers shrugged off the laughable moment to win 6-7 (7-5), 6-2, 10-7 and claim their fourth season-ending title.
