Beckham takes centre stage at Wimbledon

David Beckham has inadvertently taken centre stage at Wimbledon whilst proving he still has the ball skills that made him a football superstar.

Beckham was in the royal box watching Andy Murray's brother, Jamie, playing with Australian John Peers in a men's doubles semi.The former Manchester United and England skipper momentarily became the centre of attention when he caught a ball that flew off Murray's racquet.Beckham's catch sparked a roar from fans and may be the first time in his life that he's been applauded for a handball. For the record, Murray and Peers won the match, providing Australia's sole finalist of the tournament.
