'We're trying': Alexander Zverev's sad admission after devastating loss to Jannik Sinner
Alexander Zverev was in a sombre mood after his Australian Open final loss to Jannik Sinner, declaring he's "just not good enough".
The world No.2's defeat made it three from three in grand slam finals, following losses at Roland Garros and the US Open.
Zverev was comprehensively beaten in the Australian Open decider, losing in straight sets to the world No.1.

The German was honest in his self-appraisal at the post-match presentation.

"I want to thank my team, we're trying to do all the right work, I'm just not good enough, it's as simple as that," he said as a member of his staff gave a supportive thumbs up.
"But I really appreciate what everyone has done over the last few years back from my ankle injury, to world no.2, to playing grand slam finals again, I really appreciate everything they have done. I wouldn't be here without them."
Sinner and Zverev were captured on the coverage sharing a special embrace after the match as the German struggled to hold back tears while the Australian Open champion spoke.
The Italian encouraged Zverev to "keep believing in yourself" when speaking post-match.
"I think all players, coaches and whoever is involved in the sport knows how strong you are not only as a player but also as a person so keep it up, keep working hard because we believe you can lift one of these (trophies) very, very soon," Sinner said.
"I wish you only the best".
Australian tennis legend Todd Woodbridge, who was the presenter at the event, described Zverev as "very hard on himself".
"He's a champion player, he's in these stages so often and eventually like Jannik said, his time will come," he said.
