TAB customer puts $300,000 on Tim Tszyu to defeat Bowyn Morgan
One local punter has emptied the bank on Tim Tszyu to come out victorious when he faces off against Kiwi Bowyn Morgan at Bankwest Stadium tonight.
The TAB customer has placed a giant bet of $303,000 at $1.03 on Tszyu to win his main event bout. Should his bet prove successful, the punter will take home a profit of $9,090.
Tszyu's underdog opponent is currently paying $13 to win, according to TAB.
"The $303,000 wager on Tszyu to be victorious this evening is one of the biggest bets placed on a person or sporting team in 2020," TAB's Trent Langskaill said.
"The TAB customer in question will make a profit of $9090 if Tszyu defeats Morgan in a few hours at Bankwest Stadium."

If Tszyu emerges victorious in Wednesday's Sydney Super Fight, then the Aussie will be fighting for the WBO super-welterweight title in his next fight, if WBO super welterweight world champion Patrick Teixeira and contender Brian Castano cannot make their fight before January 6.
