Super dog gives pro cyclists a great run for their money

The mix of dogs and bicycles is quite often a recipe for disaster.

Man's best friend loves to be around things are exciting and moving, so this little champ's chance to run with a peloton of pro riders was too good to refuse.

The dog enjoyed a handy early lead before tiring.

The pack of riders were left in the wake of the dog until tiredness kicked in and the speed at the front slowed.

It was then the chance for danger increased dramatically as the riders started to work their way around the dog, who hopefully realised his day was done and took a spot on the side of the road.
