'Absolutely not': Jordan Mailata's shoey refusal after Super Bowl victory

Aussie Jordan Mailata was left speechless after his Super Bowl victory with the Philadelphia Eagles, and there was one winning tradition he was refusing to do.
The Eagles were way too dominant for the Kansas City Chiefs, winning the decider in New Orleans 40-22.
Asked by ESPN what it meant to be an Eagles captain and Super Bowl winner, the left tackle was lost for words.

"Usually I have the right words to say, but I don't know what to say right now. It's surreal," he said.
Victory for the boy from Bankstown made him the first Australian to play and start for a Super Bowl-winning team.
When that was put to him, Mailata simply nodded his head before stating, "That I like".
"That's pretty cool," he laughed.
The Aussie was then asked how he would celebrate, replying he wasn't sure before denying he'd do a shoey.
"Absolutely not. Not in these shoes," he said while shaking his head.
Later his wife Niki told 9News, "I couldn't be more prouder of him ... It's incredible", before Mailata walked over after his press conference was completed.
"I'm taking my wife with me," he laughed.
