Squash champion produces freak shot

Colombia’s Miguel Angel Rodriguez added to the highlights reel from squash’s Tournament of Champions with a behind-the-back effort that kept him in a point.

Rodriquez was locked in battle in his opening game against British star Nick Matthew when he was forced to attempt a no-look save while backpedalling from the front of the court.The resulting stroke stunned the commentators and kept him in the rally, in which he produced another remarkable save before eventually losing to slip 5-3, down.Rodriguez would also go on to lose the match, but his remarkable shot-making now stands as an impressive legacy as fans compare it to some of the freakiest feats ever seen in sport.
