Solomon qualifies for 400m final at Games

Australian Steve Solomon has booked a berth in the men's 400m final at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
The 24-year-old Solomon finished third in his semi-final in 45.55 seconds, a time good enough to earn the 2012 Olympic finalist a spot in Tuesday night's title race.
Isaac Makwala, from Botswana, was the fastest qualifier in 45.00.
