Slam dunk ends in a face plant

A backyard basketball trick has left a woman red-faced and sore after she tried to slam dunk off a chair and face planted the ground.

The woman was trying to impress friends with her own take on basketball's most spectacular play using a fold-up chair for a launch pad.

But as this video shows it all went horribly wrong when - instead of flying like Jordan - she slipped and cartwheeled over the chair, finishing face-first on the concrete.

Talk about the slammer getting slammed.

Fortunately she escaped with just a sore chin and a bruised ego.
