EXCLUSIVE: Charlotte Caslick's cheeky sledge to Queensland-raised Waratahs rival ahead of final
Rugby superstar Charlotte Caslick has offered a gentle reminder to her former Aussie sevens teammate and Super Rugby Women's grand final opponent Georgina Friedrichs about where she grew up as the Waratahs and Reds prepare for battle.
The final for the competition has set up a mouth-watering State of Origin style encounter after the Waratahs defeated the Western Force and Reds beat Fijiana Drua.
Friedrichs previously played for the Reds and grew up in Queensland, before the centre made the move to the Waratahs in 2020.

Ahead of the grand final, Caslick wasn't afraid to offer a cheeky sledge to her ex-teammate.
"I guess for 'G-Fred' it's actually quite difficult because she's actually a Queenslander so I don't know how she does it running out for NSW," she laughed on Stan Sport's Between Two Posts Extra.

Asked for her thoughts on playing at North Sydney Oval in front of the Waratahs' home crowd, Caslick's answer was typical to the Queensland underdog mantra.
"I've never played there. I'm excited to get down to Sydney and play, I think to be honest all the pressure's on NSW," she said.
"They've never lost to an Australian side, they're reigning champs and the pressure's on them. We're going down to enjoy the experience and give it our best shot."
Matt Burke found the funny side.
"Spoken like a true Queenslander," he said.
The Waratahs come into the match searching for their sixth title while the Reds have lost five deciders since 2018.
Friedrichs admitted there is pressure attached to the occasion.

"Obviously the longer we go undefeated against Australian teams, the more the pressure builds," she said.
"But pressure is a privilege and we take that in our stride in taking on the pressure and converting it."
The Super Rugby Women's final will be played on Saturday April 12 with kick off at 2:35pm (AEST).
