Wallabies gun Fraser McReight has arm in sling after scoring thrilling Queensland try

Pleasure quickly turned to pain for Fraser McReight as the Queensland Reds star injured himself while scoring a spectacular try against the NSW Waratahs on Saturday night.
McReight, fresh from re-signing with Rugby Australia until 2028, lit up Suncorp Stadium in the second half as he finished a sweeping team movement.
The openside flanker shrugged off the tackle attempt of former Reds teammate Lawson Creighton before teasing Andrew Kellaway with the threat of an inside pass before diving over the line himself.

Unfortunately for the 26-year-old, his celebrations were soured as he clutched at the left shoulder he had just landed awkwardly on.
McReight tried to play through the pain barrier but eventually got saved from himself and was substituted.
"That's a good call from the coach, I reckon that's come from (coach) Les Kiss," Queensland great Tim Horan said on Stan Sport.

"Down on his shoulder as he plays the ball and he's seen him holding it."
McReight's arm was in a sling after the match but Kiss played down fears of a serious injury.
"I don't think it's anything sinister, put it that way," Kiss told Stan Sport.

"However, we'll make sure we check it out. We we've got an away trip next week (against the Highlanders in Dunedin).
"I'd already planned, it was on our plan to give Fraser a week off on the (Wallabies) management program, so maybe it came at the right time."
Even without McReight, the Reds were able to maintain the rage and belt the Waratahs 35-15.
NSW were the only unbeaten side left in Super Rugby heading into the round five match.
The Reds now sit third on the ladder with the Waratahs fifth.
NSW face another tough derby next week as they host the fourth-placed ACT Brumbies in Sydney.
