Quade confirmed in Aussie Sevens squad

Quade Cooper has been named in Australia's rugby Sevens squad for the next leg of the world series in Las Vegas next month.

Cooper was confirmed in the 12-man squad on Friday after the Australian Rugby Union negotiated a release from his French club Toulon for the tournament to be played on March 4-6.

The 58-Test Wallabies five-eighth will make his international Sevens debut as he eyes a berth in Australia's team for the Rio Olympics later this year.
