Eddie Jones reiterates desire to coach NRL following sacking by England
Eddie Jones has confirmed a job coaching in the NRL is very much on the table as he is "looking at everything" following his sacking by England.
The 62-year-old Aussie was punted by the English rugby board on Tuesday following a dire period for the national team.
He is now weighing up his next move, and told the Sunday Herald he is open to a code switch to join the 13-man game.

In July this year Jones told 9News he has dreamt of coaching the Rabbitohs, although conceded the opportunity would likely never eventuate.

"As for my next step, well I think everyone knows I love a scrap and I'm up for whatever challenge is next," he told the Herald following his axing this week.
"I'm open to looking at everything in rugby and I've made no secret of my wish to give the NRL a go, too.
"Nothing is off the table. Nothing. It's all about the right job at the right time and I'll look at it all."
It's been speculated Jones could also replace Dave Rennie as Wallabies coach ahead of next year's World Cup, although All Blacks great Murray Mexted warned against Rugby Australia going down that path.
Jones used his interview with the Herald to also swipe those who had criticised his tenure as England coach.
"All the critics are having their say," he said.
"My only response is that I have coached a certain way my whole career and I'm happy with that, and I'm not about to change anything when it comes to my dedication, expectations and determination to get things done.
"I'm not going to get into anything more than that."
