Exiled Wallaby Israel Folau's leaked letter to Rugby Australia chiefs revealed
Israel Folau has sent a scathing email to the board of Rugby Australia, days after launching legal action against the code with the Fair Work Commission.
The letter demands answers as to how the media gained access to the sworn testimony and confidential proceedings of his Code of Conduct hearing which recently found him guilty of a high-level breach.
His $4 million contract was subsequently terminated by Rugby Australia after the tribunal’s verdict was handed down.
Folau sent the letter to Rugby Australia’s directors on Saturday – it was ironically then published on The Daily Telegraph website later that day.
The fallen rugby star reiterates his belief that his employment was terminated due to his religious beliefs.
