Horwill suffers horrific finger injury in England

There’s tough and then there’s James Horwill tough.

That’s the only conclusion one can come to after watching the way the former Wallabies and Queensland Reds second-rower reacted after suffering a compound dislocation of his finger in a match in England.

Playing for Harlequins, the one-time Wallabies captain was left with a mangled index finger on his left hand after a mishap in a line out.

He knew what was wrong and soon after so did everyone else.

The noted hard-man proved just how hard he is as team medicos attempted to fix his finger.
