As if the All Blacks didn’t need any more reason to win the World Cup ...

Former England captain Matt Dawson has earned the ire of New Zealanders everywhere after creating a new dance – the 'Hakarena' – which jokingly mocks the Haka.

The war-cry of the All Blacks has long been one of the greatest spectacles of rugby union, a challenge to any of the reigning world champion's foes.

But Dawson, who was a part of England's 2003 World Cup winning side, believes he has found a way to disrupt the pre-game tradition.

In a new video for men's clothing line Jacamo, a determined Dawson instils courage amongst England supporters with words of strength before unleashing his "secret weapon".

Leading a band of men adorned in English colours, Dawson blends Haka-inspired movements with a style of dancing which seems to mimic the mid-90s craze, the 'Macarena'.

The cringe-worthy scene soon breaks into laughter amongst the dancers, revealing the lack of seriousness of the challenge to the Haka.

But still, why would you risk firing up the All Blacks?
