'Oh yeah, that's it' referee forgets to blow whistle

The Brumbies' season came to an end in comical fashion as referee Angus Gardner completely forgot to end the game.

Three minutes into over-time the ball went into touch and Gardner started dishing out instructions to players when Highlanders halfback Aaron Smith said "That's it, isn't it?"

Looking annoyed, Gardner turned to Smith and said belligerently "No."

Then the lightbulb went on as he realised the diminutive player was right and said "Oh, yeah! That's it." And blew the whistle.
