Powered by

Swedish Rally-Cross driver Kevin Eriksson has taken to social media to show exactly how his famous overtake manoeuvre went down from the driver’s seat in the German leg of the FIA World Rally-Cross championship

The footage reveals just how close Eriksson came to disaster, almost taking out his fellow competitors and narrowly avoiding oversteering his vehicle into the barricade.

In the bottom corner of the footage however a different story is evident as the 20-year-old prodigy’s skill becomes apparent in the driver cam.

Eriksson is seen wrestling with the wheel, downshifting and upshifting in succession and feathering the brakes all while remaining inexplicably calm as he slides into first place.

With a little under half a million views in 19 hours Erikssson’s dash-cam footage, of which he uploaded to his personal Facebook page, has gone viral as the youngster racing star basks in his newly found fame.

“incar footage from the start of the final yesterday from Germany” the young swede posted.

“#revlimiter #sorryengine” he quipped in reference to the extreme conditions he placed his Honda Red Bull Omse vehicle under, in order to execute the daring feat.
