Pilley into World Series finals

Australian squash player Cameron Pilley has qualified for the finals of the World Series event in Dubai.

Eight of the world's top squash players will battle it out in a round-robin format starting on Tuesday, with the 33-year-old drawn into a tough pool.

The world No.13 will go up against No.2 Frenchman Gregory Gaultier, No.4 Egyptian Omar Mosaad first-up opponent and world No.11 Simon Rosner

He will open up against Mosaad on Tuesday night (AEST).

Pilley has been in good form over the past six months, finishing runner-up in the Hong Kong Open, reaching the semi-finals of the Canary Wharf Classic in England and the quarter-finals in competitions in Sweden, Colombia and Switzerland.
