Perpetual Loyal to be sold

Perpetual Loyal's 2015 Sydney to Hobart could be the yacht's last with owner Anthony Bell opting to sell the boat immediately after the conclusion of the race.

Originally purchased as the Rambler 100 in 2012, the yacht was completely rebuilt to allow her to compete again on the world stage under the GL Class approvals and International Sailing Federation Rules.

Perpetual Loyal finished second in line honours to Wild Oats XI in 2013, but was forced to retire from last year's race following hull damage.

Proceeds from the boat's winnings have been donated entirely to charity as part of the Loyal Foundation.
