Sharks skipper celebrates with dear friend

Sharks captain Paul Gallen has had a busy couple of days but he still had time to visit a special mate.

Former broadcaster and die hard Sharks fan Glenn Wheeler received a visit from the winning NRL skipper a day after the Sharks made history.

Wheeler was involved in a motor scooter accident last year and has been recovering from various injuries ever since.

The heart-warming footage shows Gallen greet Wheeler as the former media personality kisses the rugged front rower continuously on the cheek. 

The Cronulla skipper, with a big smile on his face, then removes himself from Wheelers’ grip and asks him to hold on a second.

Gallen walks to the passenger side of the car and then pulls out the Provan-Summons Trophy that’s awarded to the NRL premiers much to the delight of Wheeler.
