'The two extensions were not sufficient': Sleeping problem resolved for world's second-tallest man
Two Paralympic gold medals and worldwide fame is not enough to guarantee you a bed in the athletes' village.
At least not one, in the case of the world's second-tallest man, Mortez Mehrzadselakjani, that you can fit in.
The 246cm Iranian giant was forced to sleep on the floor in Paris for several days.

However, his sleeping situation has now been resolved by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
A member of Iran's sitting volleyball team, Mehrzadselakjani - better known as Mehrzad - has played a crucial role in his country winning gold at the past two Paralympic Games.
As competition commenced for his team in France, Mehrzad had yet to be provided with a bed that could support his needs.
Iran's head coach, Hadi Rezaeigarkani, revealed a specific bed was made for Mehrzad in Tokyo three years ago, but a similar construction was not made for the team's stint in Paris.

But as reports emerged of Mehrzad's situation, the IPC confirmed Mehrzad's village facilities had been amended.
"Since learning about the situation in the media, we are making available additional extensions," the IPC said in a statement provided to CNN.

"The beds in the Paralympic village are modular in design.
"The Paris 2024 team received a request from the Iranian NPC [national Paralympic committee] and responded by providing two extensions to the standard bed.
"No further request was made to Paris 2024 by the Iranian NPC, but the two extensions were not sufficient.
"The situation will be resolved today."
